Silver Springs is a nature park that has been long before Disney every arrived in the state. It is known for it's glass-bottom boat rides, which provide a unique view of the area's crystal clear springs. In addition to two other boat rides around the springs, you can see a wide array of wildlife (there is also a safari-styled Jeep ride), and visit a small museum that houses a number of props from television shows and movies filmed at the Springs. The Wild Waters Water Park is right next door. Go in the late spring or early fall when the weather is perfect.
There are too many nerdy spots to show you (Over 1000!) in the current map view.
